The Need
Addressing homelessness encompasses understanding its various root causes and implementing multifaceted solutions for housing stability. Our aim extends beyond mere placement in housing; we strive to ensure families remain housed, eliminating the risk of homelessness altogether. By establishing a foundation of security, we empower families to break free from the cycle of poverty, enabling them and their children to envision a brighter future.
Pathways Home
Our innovative Pathways Home initiative offers affordable housing while assisting clients in enhancing life skills, financial literacy, and income generation. This stability not only shields families from destitution but also fosters hope and ambition. Through the Pathways Home Parkside Cottages, FPSSC provides housing where client families pay a nominal program fee, collaborating with case managers to overcome barriers to increased income and prosperity.
With your help, and a loan from a donor, Family Promise has purchased this pocket community to use as affordable transitional housing for working families. This will help them achieve stability and move toward self-sufficiency. We did not want to lose the opportunity to provide this housing so we received bridge funding from a donor and we have three years to pay it back. Please help us finish paying for this much needed housing. Unfortunately, we cannot utilize grants to pay back a loan, so we are relying on generous donors like you. The total below reflects what we have raised so far.
