When we first set out with the ambitious goal of raising $3 million for our Capital Campain, we knew it wouldn’t be easy. But we were driven by a deep sense of purpose and hope for the future. Thanks to your incredible generosity, belief in our mission, and unwavering support, we have made tremendous strides together.
With your help, and a donor loan of $1.5 million, Family Promise has purchased this pocket community to serve as affordable transitional housing for working families, helping them achieve stability and move toward self-sufficiency.
Today, we are thrilled to share that the remaining balance on our loan has been reduced to $741,854.09—an accomplishment we could not have reached without each of you.
Unfortunately, we are unable to use grants to pay back the loan, so we are relying on the continued generosity of donors like you. We extend out heartfelt thanks to all the donors and foundations whose support has made this unique opportunity possible!

Addressing homelessness encompasses understanding its various root causes and implementing multifaceted solutions for housing stability. Our aim extends beyond mere placement in housing; we strive to ensure families remain housed, eliminating the risk of homelessness altogether. By establishing a foundation of security, we empower families to break free from the cycle of poverty, enabling them and their children to envision a brighter future.
Pathways Home
Our innovative Pathways Home initiative offers affordable housing while assisting clients in enhancing life skills, financial literacy, and income generation. This stability not only shields families from destitution but also fosters hope and ambition. Through the Pathways Home Parkside Cottages, FPSSC provides housing where client families pay a nominal program fee, collaborating with case managers to overcome barriers to increased income and prosperity.
